With almost a hundred entries to date, the You Can Do This Project has brought hope, encouragement and support to the diabetes online community. But – that’s only online.

It’s time to kick this up a notch.

The next step is to take this project offline to conferences like Friends For Life and TCOYD, and to increase its reach by spreading the word through Facebook advertising, etc.

So far, general donations have funded:

  • the table registration cost for FFL ’12 (July 3 – 8th, 2012 in Orlando, FL) [$450]
  • the table registration cost for TCOYD – Des Moines (September 22nd, 2012 in Des Moines, IA) [$250]
  • signage for conference tables [$237]

Thank you for your continued support! This page will be updated as donated funds are allocated and spent, so that you always know where your money is going.

In the same way that just one of these videos can help multiple people, every dollar can add up to something big. No donation amount is too small.

Please note that the You Can Do This Project is NOT a registered 501(c)3 charitable organization at this time. You are donating to an individual with the good faith that I’ll do what I say I’m going to do.

You Can Do This Project secured US$2,000 in seeds grant funding in August of 2012 from the Diabetes Hands Foundation! This funding will be used to support Facebook advertising efforts and the printed materials for conference/event appearances. Thank you for voting for You Can Do This Project!
